In 2022, the Transportation Division will receive a grant of $ 638,714.00, which will be used to support Somerset County‘s Consolidated Transportation Program, including its paratransit and transit services.

Somerset County Transportation Division
The Transportation Division provides paratransit services to the elderly (60 years and over) and people with disabilities (18 years and over) for medical care, employment, workshops, senior centers and other destinations. Community transportation is also provided to the general public along fixed routes, as indicated by pre-printed timetables.
Casino Income Funre
In 1977, legislation was enacted and the Constitution amended, which allowed Atlantic City casino games to provide 8% of annual gross casino revenues to be deposited into the Casino Revenue Fund (CRF). Legislation specifies that CRF money is to be used only for programs for the elderly and people with disabilities.
