HSBC bank customers have reported outage issues after they were unable to access their online and mobile banking services.
The number of issues reported by HSBC customers continues to rise Detector down with more than 200 people currently affected.
The HSBC outage appears to be affecting customers across the country, according to Detector down.
The bank apologized to those who were unable to access their accounts through mobile and online banking.
“Why is the online banking app and platform still having issues?” said one customer.
“And it won’t allow me to use the chat option. Hsbc, you have to fix that!”
Another said: “HSBC online banking payee selection option is down. It basically means their online banking is totally down.”
Responding to a customer, HSBC said: “Hello. I’m sorry you’re having trouble with the app. Call our online banking service on 03456 002 290, the team are open from 8am to 8pm. They can help you. help regain access to online/mobile banking.”
It comes just weeks after Natwest and RBS mobile banking app outages left many customers unable to access their accounts online.
During this time, The cooperative bank apologized to customers on Thursday after hundreds of people were unable to log into their accounts.
